Above is the "QB" for quick built, a word popular in the 70's to described the models kitted by Pilot Models of Japan. this was desgined by a Japanese and was very popular in the U.S. and here in the Philippines. Thousands must have flown the skies all over the world. Above is an electric version usig light foamboard for the fuselage and the wings. Not clearly shown is a $10 brushless electric motor. Wingspan of theis plane is 44" and fuselength is about 34". Lithium polymer batteries are used and one pack and last 8 to 10 minutes in the air. Of course, this is flown remote control. This is the nth QB built by the author and this one was for "Kermitdafrog" , a registered pseusoname in RCPhilippines.com, a local forum for modellers. anyone can open this forum, just google the name. Kermit was elated last week to have "soloed" this model and had dd two batt packs or a total of about 15 minutes in "stick time".
